Proper care is essential to extend the life of your cranial prosthesis and maintain its natural look and comfort. With consistent and mindful maintenance, your unit can last up to 12 months of wear. Please follow these guidelines:

1. Washing & Conditioning
    
   • Wash every 2–3 weeks with a sulfate-free, paraben-free shampoo designed for human hair wigs.
      
   • Always follow with a lightweight conditioner, focusing on the mid-shaft to ends (avoid the base/cap).
      
   • Rinse in cool water only — hot water can loosen the cap construction and damage the hair fibers.

   • Air dry on a wig stand. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
